An 18 year old South Island man has been arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, indecent assault, possession of an offensive weapon, and driving drunk.
This follows an incident last night in Alexandra.
A woman is being treated for minor injuries as a result of the incident.
The pair are unknown to each other.
The man is due to appear in the Queenstown District Court.
