Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with an axe attack on two Korean fishermen north of Auckland at Easter.
They say the 37-year-old has been on the run for some time and was actively evading police following the incident at Ti Point Wharf in Rodney.
He was found at a Taumaranui address this morning and will appear in the Hamilton District Court tomorrow.
A 34-year-old man was arrested a short time after the attack.
