Kiwi Jack Bauer was punched by a fellow rider late into stage 10 of the Tour de France.
The Quick Step rider was struck by Nacer Bouhanni of Team Cofidis, with the incident captured by a overhead camera. Bauer was working to set up team-mate Marcel Kittel for his fourth stage win of this year's tour.
The French rider was fined 200 Swiss Francs by the Tour de France jury and hit with a one minute penalty, Cyclingnews.com reports.
