Jacinda Ardern will rub shoulders with Donald Trump in New York during the coming week.
The Prime Minister currently winging her way to the Big Apple to take part in the United Nation's leaders' week.
Ardern suspects she'll have a conversation with Trump but that is about all.
She is concerned with his protectionist actions on the trade front.
"We obviously have very different views on political issues, and that's mostly where my engagement is around political issues. Any undermining of the rules of the game, does concern me because it affects New Zealand.
