Student protestors say an IPCA report clearing police of using undue force in dealing with Blockade the Budget protestors, is riddled with inaccuracies.
Nineteen complaints were received by the Independent Police Conduct Authority from protestors involved in the central Auckland demonstration in 2012.
Students who laid complaints say the report relies heavily on police testimony.
They say it fails to criticise violence used by police, including open palm strikes, and a technique where knuckles are used to inflict pain in an area between the mastoid process and the jawbone.
They're also questioning why the report took two years to complete.
