Disaster has struck twice for one Christchurch resident.
James Frost lost his home in the 2011 quake, and now he's watched his new home in Worsleys Road burn down.

He's reeling and doesn't know how to feel.
"I really don't know mate, I'm still in a bit of shock at the moment."
"Today is just about getting around as close as I can to it, to get my own closure and actually just see it."
James Frost said he got out with nothing but his cat, dog, and the clothes on his back.
Another resident has offered him a place to stay for a week while he figures out where to go.
