The fourth member of an American family has died following a crash between a car and logging truck near Tokoroa.

17 year old Griffin Lee was the front seat passenger in a car that collided with the truck on State Highway One a week ago.

He's been in a critical condition in Waikato Hospital since - but died earlier today.

His parents, Warren and Aesoon Lee and his 20 year old sister Julia died in the crash.
