Police are shocked with a case where a drink driver was pulled over carrying two unrestrained children on Auckland's Tamaki drive.
The driver was allegedly three times over the limit and was also carrying two other intoxicated adults.
Road Policing Manager Andy King says there was a huge risk to both the passengers in the car and other road users.
He says the message to drivers is simple: please don't drink and drive and there's a huge importance of restraints for both children and adults.
