Enjoy yourself this summer, have a drink... just don't overdo it.
That's the message from the Brewers Association.
It says the warm weather is a great time to get together to have a couple of drinks with friends and family.
The Association's Acting CEO Kevin Sinnott said drinking attitudes are changing.
"Last summer, a great example was this huge spike in blow ABV consumption, so people [were] choosing beer with an alcohol content of 2.5 percent or lower."
Sinnott said there's no point in going too hard.
"Most New Zealander's know how to enjoy themselves, [and] enjoy having a beer with friends but not being silly about it."
