Updated 8.47am: Work to upgrade Hamilton's Seddon Park cricket grounds is almost complete.
Changing rooms for match officials and the players have been completely refurbished and extended, in time for the Cricket World Cup next year.
The upgrades cost just over $700,000.
Hamilton City Council's Chad Hooker says it's looking great and will help attract international matches to the ground.
"It's going exceptionally well, we've basically finished the player and match official area upgrade, and we're now working on the broadcast towers for the ground as well."
Northern District Cricket CEO Peter Roache says the upgrades have been a long time coming, but they're worth the wait.
"To bump our facilities up to the next level and put us again at the head of the pack is fantastic."
