Dangerous conditions in Cook Strait have forced the Interislander to cancel two sailings of the Kaitaki ferry.
The 8.30am sailing from Wellington has been canned due to swells of up to eight metres this morning.
The 1.15pm return journey from Picton has also been cancelled.
An Interislander spokesperson says the weather conditions are too dangerous to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
