UPDATED 10:00am: Comedian Ewen Gilmour has died.
His friend Mike King has tweeted the news this morning.
He's said...he still remembers their first gig together in 1994...the man was "too funny".

Ewen Gilmour was meant to be performing at a Kiwi Comedy Night in Whangarei to fundraise for the Choose Life Charitable Trust.
The event has since been cancelled.
