A body has been found in a burnt out shed on the West Coast.
The fire broke out around three this morning in the building at Karangarua, near Fox Glacier.
Concerns were raised when police found a car outside the property
A police spokesperson says a scene examination is underway to find the cause of the fire and identify the person.
