Auckland Anglicans have expressed their concern about child poverty.
They're holding their Synod in Waitangi, to mark 200 years since the Church held its first Christmas service in New Zealand at Oihi.
The Synod has passed a motion calling on the government to take urgent action.
They've also challenged election candidates to show real commitment over reducing child poverty levels.
