One person has died after a vehicle crashed into a creek in Mangakino in the Otorohanga District.
Emergency services were called to Tahae Road at around 4pm.
A Police spokesperson says the initial report was that a car was upside down in a creekÂ
It comes less than two hours after another fatal crash near Paparoa, 45km northwest of Wellsford.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
