It seems the All Blacks are already firmly focused on the end game as they set off for London tonight.

NZME reporter Vaimoana Tapaleao joined around one hundred well-wishers at Auckland Airport to farewell the boys in black.

She said security guards and management whisked the team past the cheering crowd, but a few fans still managed to snatch selfies and autographs from their favourite players.

She said plenty of All Blacks-in-the-making have been allowed up past their bedtimes to farewell the team.

"We only had a handful of players who stopped to sign autographs and say hi to a few of the young fans, Sonny Bill Williams was up for a selfie or two."

The squad is one short - Midfielder Ma'a Nonu is sick and will miss tonight's flight.

He is set to depart tomorrow.
