Air New Zealand will spend more than a hundred million dollars refurbishing some of its planes, and adding premium seats to others.
The national carrier is changing the cabin configuration of three Dreamliners, scheduled for delivery in October next year, to include more Business Premier and Premium Economy seats.
It will also refurbish its seven Boeing 777-300s with a new in-flight entertainment system and seating arrangement, starting in February next year.
Customer experience general manager Carrie Hurihanganui said the airline is responding to increased demand for luxury leather premium economy seating.
