Multiple people have been reported injured in single-vehicle crash outside of Wairoa, police say.
The crash happened several kilometres west of the town around 11.15am on Sunday.
There are several people and serious injuries are involved, a police spokesperson said.
State Highway 2 is currently blocked due to the crash.
Motorists are advised to expect significant delays, and to delay travel if possible.
