Anyone wanting a bit of stress relief in quake-hit Kaikoura is in luck.
A group of massage therapists and acupuncturists are volunteering therapies to the people and emergency workers of Kaikoura, Waiau and Scargill areas.
New Zealand Emergency Response Therapist coordinator Marina Locke said the treatments will help those who have been unable to sleep since the earthquake.
Ms Locke said if the therapists are able to take some of the tension away, so people can have more even sleep, they will be able to heal any psychological, emotional and physical trauma faster.
The therapists will be working at the Kaiapoi Old Mill on Ranfurly Street from 10am - 3:30pm today.
