There are fresh calls for tougher alcohol reform in New Zealand.
A New Zealand Health Survey has shown there's only been a small drop in hazardous drinking over seven years, from 18 to 16 percent.
Alcohol Action New Zealand spokesperson Doug Sellman told Newstalk ZB's Tim Dower it's not enough.
"You can't expect us to turn the tide by just tinkering with these liquor laws and then pretending you're actually undertaking alcohol reform, which the government has done over the past five years.
"You've got to actually engage in proper alcohol reform."
