No monkey business, a serious name is needed for Hamilton Zoo's new baby.
A chimp born in February, to much excitement, still doesn't have a name.
The public is being asked to putting thinking caps on and come up with something fitting for the two-month-old girl.
Zoo spokesman Dave Smart says she is a beautiful little critter who needs a name that isn't western like most of her family, which includes Lucy, Luka, Lucfier and Sally.
"What we're looking for is a name that comes from, or has a nod to Central or Western Africa, which is the chimpanzee's natural habitat."
The two-month-old was born to parents Sanda and Luka.
Smart said she is growing well and is already a popular addition.
"She's beautiful and amazing and we love her dearly, and we're hoping for a really amazing name to be chosen by someone."
The winner will get an annual zoo pass so they can visit the chimp they named as much as they like.
