The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra's recording work could see them receive a gong at the super-prestigious Grammy Awards today.
The NZSO has been nominated for Best Orchestral Performance.
Christopher Blake, chief executive of the national orchestra, said while they haven't got anyone from within the orchestra attending the star-studded awards, the glitz and glam will still have an impact here.
Their musicians are coming together today to watch the magic unfold - on Twitter.
Blake said that whatever the live feed reveals, even to be nominated is going to "up" the profile of the orchestra.
"It does get our name up there which helps with the business of attracting important artists to New Zealand as well."
"A lot of people don't necessarily think of an orchestra winning a Grammy award, so by doing that I guess we can expand interest in the orchestra from others who may not be regular concert goers."
The Grammys will begin in Los Angeles at 5pm this afternoon.
