A window of opportunity for recovery teams at Fox Glacier this morning.
A team of four has spent the night near the site of Saturday's fatal helicopter crash after the weather closed in yesterday.
Sergeant Sean Judd said for the team on the hill, "it all just comes down to visibility."
"Yes it's a glacier, there are issues, the terrain is reasonably steep and dangerous, but the main thing holding us up is just visibility and cloud."
However, the weather is clear this morning, and there's a hive of activity in the township.
Helicopters are already making trips to and from the site.
There are still three bodies to be recovered.
