More evacuations in Kaikoura.

The Red Cross and Search and Rescue have evacuated 13 homes after the discovery of a potential landslide.

People from 174 to 186 Torquay St are being evacuated as a precaution because of the risk of a slip from Scarborough Street.

The people being evacuated are being offered somewhere else to stay temporarily.

Access to Torquay St has been restricted to residents only, and is down to one lane.

Traffic on Scaborough St is also down to a single lane.
