A specialist fire investigator is on their way to find what started a blaze at bottle store and pub in Pakuranga.

Seven fire engines rushed to the two-storey building on Cortina Place.

The blaze was burning on a mezzanine floor.

Reeves Road, near the Pakuranga Plaza shopping centre, was closed for a time but Auckland Transport said traffic can now use it again.

Two fire crews are still at the scene.
