Police are investigating a fatal quad bike crash in Carterton.
The farm owner had been spraying weeds at the property on Hodders Road when it appears he rolled the quad bike into the drain and became trapped.
He was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
Police are working with the family and WorkSafe NZ to establish the cause of the incident.
