A 14-year-old boy has accidentally shot himself in the foot with a slug gun in Tairua.
He's been taken to Thames Hospital.
Emergency Services were called to an address in the Coromandel town earlier this morning following repots of a shooting.
Police say the boy was playing with the gun at the time.
