Wellington Police are currently in attendance at a Strathmore Park address after staff received reports a woman had been injured.

Police and ambulance arrived at the scene shortly after 7.30 tonight.

A 37 year-old woman was found dead.

Another 37 year-old woman was arrested at the Tannadyce Street address and is currently being spoken to by police.

Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.

A cordon has been put in place around the address and staff will be present through the night.
