A tourist driver is set to appear in the Dunedin District Court today over a fatal crash south of Oamaru.
The 29-year-old man is facing a charge of dangerous driving causing death.
It relates to a crash near Herbert at the end of November, where motorcyclist 39-year-old motorcyclist Craig Chambers was killed.
The car the man was driving was overtaking other vehicles on double yellow lines at the time of the crash.
Last week the government announced a $25 million investment into improving foreign driver safety.
