Six suspicious car fires in Christchurch are thought be linked.
Fire and police staff were at the scene of six blazes from just before 10 o'clock last night to 3 o'clock this morning.
Fire Service spokesman Riwai Grace said there were four separate callouts which resulted in serious damage.
Police are investigating the cause of the fires.
