Taranaki Police have arrested six people following a methamphetamine bust.

A number of properties were searched earlier today.

Police have recovered ammunition, a firearm and drugs.

Five men and one woman face charges in court today, ranging from unlawfully possession of firearms, to supply the drug known as P.

Taranaki Area Police Commander, Inspector Keith Borrell says the arrests are the result of a lengthy investigation into people connected with the Head Hunters.
