One of two men facing charges of bribery and corruption brought by the Serious Fraud Office has made another appearance in the North Shore District Court.

Reporter Dylan Moran says the pair of men are accused of accepting gifts and favours from the suppliers to Auckland Transport and Rodney District Council.

"Barry George and an associate who has name suppression are alleged to have been given money, holidays and accommodation from ProJenz over an eight year period from 2005."

The SFO, which has brought the corruption case against the men, claims they fostered an environment where accepting gifts was part of parcel of Auckland's Road Maintenance Division."
