Police are now treating the death of a Pukekohe man in December as “suspicious” following results of a postmortem exam.
Counties Manukau CIB detective inspector Karen Bright said police are investigating following the death of a man in Pukekohe.
Police were called to an address on Times Pl on December 30, where the body of a 48-year-old man was found.
A postmortem examination was conducted, and the death is now being treated as suspicious, Bright said.
Police were in the Pukekohe area going door-to-door yesterday, over a week after the man was found dead.
“We were home that day, our son heard screams just after midnight,” a Pukekohe local said on social media.
