A man charged with killing a Napier Plunket nurse has made a brief appearance in court.
Chazz Hall was wearing dark glasses, had a large beard, shaved head and was walking with a noticeable limp when he came to the High Court in Napier this morning.
He's charged with murdering 24-year-old Victoria Foster in her Westshore home last October.
The 28-year-old is also facing other charges including possession of a shot gun, using a fire arm against police, dangerous driving, and failing to stop.
Hall was shot by police in Clive, after firing at them during a dangerous chase through Napier.
He was in a relationship with the nurse, who was a mother of one.
Justice Simon France remanded Hall in custody until later this month.
