The man who killed Delia Grace Williams in a Wellington driveway has been sentenced to three years in prison and is disqualified from driving for four years.
Earlier this year her partner, Levin accountant Mark David Stevens, pleaded guilty to her manslaughter and driving with excess breath alcohol.
Justice Simon France handed down the sentence at Wellington District Court this morning.
Ms Williams son, Byron Williams McLean, says he’ll never forget the moments following his mother’s death.
"I can vividly recall my mother lying in state in Wellington hospital's morgue, a cold, bruised and damaged empty shell of the warm, vibrant and loving woman that she was."
