UPDATED 10.02pm:Â Police have launched a homicide inquiry after a man was found dead in Ngararatunua, just north of Whangarei this evening.
Police were called to the Church Rd address about 6:30pm when the Armed Offenders Squad was also called.
A short time later, a man was arrested and taken into custody.
He's now helping police with their investigation.
