A New Zealand man allegedly caught with drugs in Phuket is wanted in New Zealand on fraud charges.
The man was arrested in Thailand last week after police allegedly caught him with 1.2 grams of methamphetamine and point 95 grams of cocaine.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has named him as Grainge Taylor.
Enquiries by the New Zealand Herald show Taylor was originally known by a different name and took what is believed to be his wife's surname after police began investigating allegations of credit card fraud against him in 2010.
It's understood he left the country under his new name, before a warrant was issued for his arrest in August 2012.
He's now facing years in a Thai jail over the drugs charges.
