Rod Petricevic is to be released from prison, with the Parole Board saying there's been a turnaround in the attitude of the former Bridgecorp boss.
The 66 year old has been granted parole and will be released from jail next month.
He's serving a six year-10 month sentence for misleading investors.
In his previous appearance before the Parole Board, a psychologist noted Petricevic displayed partial remorse, but nevertheless maintained a degree of entitlement over the way he acted.
The Parole Board said the 66 year old has since self-funded sessions with another psychologist, and now seems to have genuine remorse for his actions.
He's even described as "chastened".
