The man accused of murdering Christchurch woman Renee Duckmanton is to appear in the High Court in Christchurch this morning.

The 32-year-old will appear for a pre-trial case review.

Miss Duckmanton's body was found burned and dumped on the roadside verge of Main Rakaia Rd, on May 15th this year.

She was last seen in the city's red light district near the intersection of Manchester and Peterborough streets at around 9pm that night.

The man's trial is set to begin next year.
