The end of the Blessie Gotingco trial is looming, as both the Crown and Defence have wrapped their cases.
Justice Timothy Brewer will give his summation of the facts of the case tomorrow morning, then the jury will retire to consider their verdict.
A man, who has name suppression, is accused of raping and murdering Ms Gotingco last May.
The Crown's case centers on a claim the man was deliberately hunting for a person to abduct and rape, and Ms Gotingco was the unfortunate victim.
The lawyer for a man accused of raping and murdering Blessie Gotingco last year has told the jury there are too many questions to convict him.
The defendant admits hitting her with his car - insisting it was an accident - and believing she was dead while high on methamphetamine, stabbing her to conceal the events which killed her.
His lawyer Chris Wilkinson-Smith says the Crown's case doesn't match up with common sense - asking why he would run her down, damaging his car, when he could have physically overpowered her and not caused obvious damage to his vehicle.
He also asked the jury why the man would commit the act just minutes after driving to cemeteries and secluded areas of the north shore - an act the Crown claims was to find places to dispose of a body, but the accused says was to buy and consume drugs.
