Part of a central Dunedin road is closed after an accident in the early hours of this morning.
A driver was seriously hurt when their car hit a tree on Princes Street near The Oval, not long after 4.
The road is closed between Andersons Bay Road and Grosvenor Street, and is unlikely to open until at least midday.
