A young United Kingdom citizen living in New Zealand has been named as the man who died in a crash in rural Canterbury.
Jack Roberts, 18, died in hospital after rolling the car he was driving down a bank about 18km south of Timaru in the early hours of Sunday morning, police say.
Another person was transported to hospital with moderate injuries following the single-vehicle crash on Pareora River Road in Maungati.
