Christchurch's multi-million dollar Bus Interchange is on track to be operational by winter.

The 53 million dollar facility is being built on a central city block bounded by Tuam, Colombo, and Lichfield Streets.

The Lichfield Street section of the building is well advanced, with floorings, ceiling, painting and furniture and lighting works being completed.

Structural Steel has started on the Colombo Street portion of the building.
