Submissions close today on the planned $11 million Canterbury Earthquake Memorial.
Six designs have been on display outside the Canterbury Museum over the past three weeks.
They include a veil of tears, a ribbon of walls and a sonic garden.
A panel of art and architecture experts, and a family representative will consider the submissions.
The Government has earmarked $10 million for the memorial, with another million coming from the Christchurch Mayoral Relief Fund.
It's expected the memorial will be built next year.
