UPDATED 4.31pm:Â The miners union says it's no real surprise that Solid Energy is sticking with its original restructure plans.
There's confirmation 113 jobs will go at its Stockton Mine on the West Coast, while another six will go at Spring Creek.
Solid Energy CEO Dan Clifford says they will start the recruitment process for the remaining jobs, which is expected to be completed by the end of June.
EPMU organiser Garth Elliot says workers will have to consider their options over the next week.
"Well they'll have the opportunity to apply for some of the new rehabilitation roles that have been created, and also the opportunity to apply for a voluntary redundancy if they feel a need to."
Solid Energy CEO Dan Clifford says the feedback from staff has resulted in some alterations to the original plan.
He says a change has been proposed to further improve efficiency, which workers will have another week to comment on.
Clifford says they are now going through the process to select employees for the remaining jobs, which is expected to be completed by the end of June.
