Record sales for KFC have helped to boost Restaurant Brands' annual profit by nearly 20%.

KFC is the food stable's biggest brand, and has posted record annual sales of $265 million.

The fast food chain rolled out new burgers in the year, as well as refurbishing stores and increasing marketing and promotional offers.

Pizza Hut and Starbucks Coffee have also notched up solid sales results for the group.
