
Kiwi entrepreneurs are performing better than their global counterparts, increasing staff and improving their access to capital.
The latest survey by the worldwide Entrepreneurs' Organisation shows increasing optimism in this part of the world.
Spokesman James McGlin says the classic Kiwi entrepreneurial spirit is thriving, with 94 percent saying they're inclined to start a new business.
"It's very easy to start a new business here in New Zealand compared to many many places worldwide.
"In fact, New Zealand is consistently ranked one of the easiest places, if not the easiest place, to start a new business."
