Police are seeking the public’s help in finding an elderly woman riding a mobility scooter who is missing from her West Auckland home.

Janet Daniels, 82, was reported missing late yesterday and inquiries were underway to locate her, a police spokesperson said.

She was last seen on Monday around Lincoln Rd, Henderson - 8km away - on a mobility scooter.

“It is believed she was in possession of her blue mobility scooter at the time,” the spokesperson said.

“We have concerns for Janet’s wellbeing and would like to hear from anyone who may have sighted her.”

Her house was in New Lynn and she was known to travel around the centre of the suburb, as well as Newmarket, the police said.
