Two people have been injured after a car reportedly reversed through the back of a bus stop in the Auckland suburb of Pt Chevalier.
A police spokesperson said emergency services attended the crash, near Huia Rd, which was reported at 11.11am.
“Motorists are being advised to avoid a section of Great North Road, Pt Chevalier following a vehicle which has crashed into a bus stop.
“Early indications suggest one person has suffered moderate injuries and another person has received minor injuries.”

Traffic is down to one lane and motorists are advised to expect delays or seek an alternate route.
A staff member of a nearby business said they were in their office when they heard an enormous crash.
“We understand a person reversed back from the doctors and hit the bus stop. We also understand an elderly man was sitting at the bus stop.”
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said they were notified of this incident on Great North Rd at 11.12am.
“One ambulance, one rapid response vehicle, and one operation manager have responded and treated two patients.”
The spokesperson said one patient is in a moderate condition while another is in a minor condition.
