Kiwis are eating less meat than we used to.
The average New Zealander is eating on average 20 kilos less meat a year than a decade ago.
Lady Butcher owner Hannah Miller told Mike Hosking people are still eating meat regularly just not as much.
"Price is still definitely the main contributing factor. I don't think really it's a heath thing as far as meat but I would say people are generally eating a smaller portion size."
Miller says she's seen a change from quantity to quality.
